A very special edition of marathon runner comes courtesy of Japanese fashion label Yohji Yamamoto and the adidas diffusion line Y-3. Whilst normally a fusion of fashion and function, this Y-3 is all about performance. Outside of the unique Y-3 details, what we have here is an all-out performance shoe in the Adizero Adios Pro 4.
An ENERGYRODS system has been designed for more harmonious stiffness. The rods are embedded into the midsole, featuring best-in-classic LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam. Improved rocker point gives better transitions through the stride whilst a fuel channel reduces weight.
The refined uppers are made with one-way stretch construction, with more support and heel lockdown through a locking band and sling system. The non-slip outsole provides traction through an abrasion-resistant LIGHTRAXION rubber for the perfect balance of grip, durability and lightness.
