Slip resistant outsole improves traction

Once again Salomon's pinnacle S/Lab range brings innovation to the trail running market. This time we see a new concept in cushioning in the form the S/Lab Ultra Glide's unique outsole construction.

That maximalist midsole is built from dual-layers of Energy Foam (top) and Energy Foam for tuned cushioning. Large 'shoulders' extend up toward the ankle, providing extra support across undulating terrain.

The major innovation and point of interest is the newly developed relieveSPHERE outsole profile. When flipped over you can truly appreciate the unique design which sees circular impressions strategically placed to align with under-foot pressure points. These dome-like structures diffuse pressure across the foot to help with foot pain and prevent fatigue.
