Designed with the elites in mind, adidas release the much-anticipated successor of the Adizero Adios Pro EVO, with the second iteration.
It's an ultra lightweight and responsive racing shoe, designed for quick speeds where every second matters, that's where you'll get the most out of it. It's crafted from an ultra-lightweight almost translucent upper, which contributes to its low weight, coming in at 138g it sustains the same weight as the Pro Evo 1. Its lacing system is secure and comfortable, allowing you to dial in.
The Adizero Adios Pro EVO 2 is ideal for forefoot strikers thanks to extra foam in the forefoot stack at 36mm, which is 3mm less of a drop than the Pro Evo 1. Underfoot, LIGHTSTRIKE PRO EVO foam delivers incredible rebound-to-weight cushioning and provides a quick turnover in conjunction with the ENERGY RODS 2.0. Whilst there's no carbon plate, the ENERGY RODS 2.0 are made from carbon and follow the metatarsals of the foot to provide an efficiently propulsive ride. The rubber outsole has a precision-engineered pattern on the sole of the forefoot granting an impressive amount of grip.
