FWD VIA sees it's latest iteration with version 2.

It's Altras most cushioned daily trainer, ideal for road running thanks to tech that prioritises comfort for long runs, regular usage and all-day wear. It's crafted from an engineered spacer mesh that's been refined for a softer on foot feel. It boasts a rocker shape geometry and modest drop of 4mm, encouraging an easy rolling stride that works with the natural shape of the foot.

Ensuring comfort is at the fore, it's constructed with Altra's Original FootShape that allows for a more spacious fit with a roomier toe box complemented by a redesigned cushioned tongue. Underfoot is where we see the main update, with the replacement of the EGO FLO midsole seen in version one, for the EGO P35. Altra's EGO P35 foam encourages a light and efficient ride that offers gentler comfort, it's 19% softer and 15% more responsive than than the former midsole.
